I suppose I should start by kissing your owie and making it all better. The name of this site is from my ring name, Jewish Assisinator. Ring names are like Sign names. That is to say, they are chosen for you, by others at your gym. Two-time World Heavyweight Champ, John (The Quiet Man) Ruiz didn’t pick his own name. People at Somerville Boxing Club gave him that name because of his gentle and humble demeanor. That being said, I love not only the Semitic element of the applelation, but the anachronism. Assasinator is not a word. Even a misspelled one. This might not be the most politically correct name for a Website, but it’s the name other boxers gave me, which means I needed to earn it.
